Thank you for a great compliment, and you've reminded me that I've got a brand new sealed blu ray copy that I really need to watch, it will feature a ton of juicy extras that I've never seen before... excited!!
i found really magical to draw on black paper, i first tried it because of Batman: The Animated Series(beutifully drawn br Bruce Timm) and had a blast, making lightining seemed so much easier, althoug there was less space for errors and such. great drawing!I'm really a fan of your art, it's design, feel, and execution are just perfect for me. i love the rotting almost only bone gooish zombies, like the one in Return of the living dead ahaha
Hi there and yeah i agree with you wholeheartedly about using the black it instantly adds weight to an image, I once read that you must NEVER use pure black or white straight from the tube in a painting so i deliberately dumped all the black i could muster into this one picture. and just as you say it makes you consider the shape and edges more because for some reason errors seems more evident. Thank you for liking.
OHhhh!~ You want me to comment on your painting! Why I think that fellow is delicious! Every slimy, moldy, dripping bone-and that is one sweet face! He's smiling at me! What a charming fellow! . Again, I must say it-this is BRILLIANT! from tarp. p.s. I just nosed though your gallery-wow! I am now suffering from Horror Masterpiece overload!
